Meet board certified pediatrician Dr. Talat Khan!

Dr. Khan earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago.  During her medical career Dr. Khan has served as the staff pediatrician in South Asia and the Middle East. She has also served as staff pediatrician at All Saints Wheaton Franciscan hospital in Racine, Wisconsin, Community health system in Merrillville, Indiana and at CGH Medical Centre in Sterling, Illinois. Dr. Khan is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and was nominated as the best pediatrician of Northwest Indiana while at Merrillville, Indiana.
Dr. Khan is a mother of three teenagers herself and is passionate about taking care of children. Her compassionate personality resonates with children of all ages and she loves to make sure they are happy, healthy and growing as normally as they should. Dr. Khan believes in the potential of every child and wants them to transition successfully into healthy adults. She also has a special interest in children’s behavioral issues and mental health along with high risk pediatric issues like prematurity, autism, developmental delays and Cerebral Palsy. Additionally, she helps with weight management for teenagers and young adults.
Dr. Khan always dreamed of running her own pediatric practice and A2Z Pediatrics, is her dream come true. This gives her the opportunity to be closer to her patients and be a part of their families. Dr. Khan’s favorite past times include educating young mothers with childcare and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
